Two keynote speakers for the ‘Industrial Vision Works’ seminar programme has been announced by the UKIVA, for each day of the Vision UK/Photonex show on 12th-13th October, at Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
Jason Gow, Centre for Electronic Imaging, The Open University and Dr. Stuart Green, an amateur astronomer, will explore the functionality of imagers in space technology from different perspectives.
Jason’s talk is entitled: ‘The Challenges Associated with Imaging Technology in Space’, and Stuart’s presentation will cover ‘Machine Vision Cameras for Solar Imaging’. These will be supplemented on both days by a programme of six further seminars from speakers from Acrovision, Alrad Imaging, Clearview Imaging, Multipix Imaging, Sony Europe and Stemmer Imaging which will cover a broad range of imaging technologies.
Topics include hyperspectral imaging for machine vision, 3D imaging with the latest time of flight technology, an overview of machine vision standards, seeing byond the visible: SWIR imaging and its applications, end of line packaging and label inspection and CMOS global shutter features for machine vision applications.
