J D NEUHAUS ‘HANG TOUGH’ FOR OFFSHORE EUROPE 2011 EXHIBITION
The J D Neuhaus company will be showing some of their lifting and handling equipment at the Offshore Europe 2011 exhibition.
Their products, which have been designed to withstand the toughest operating conditions, can be found in hall 5 on stand 5D111 at the event being held in Aberdeen during 6th – 8th September 2011.

The company motto of ‘tough enough’ can be confidently applied to their exhibits which include a Profi 50 TI hoist which is a hook suspended, super versatile tool with a 50 tonne payload performance. This is being shown together with an EH 25 hoist recently added to their range, which is overhead rail mounted and suitable for 25 tonne lifts. This product was purpose designed for BOP handling and many other oil and gas applications.

Both products offer the benefits of 25% less air consumption, lubrication-free, low component count and less maintenance with reduced noise operating levels. The Profi hoist has no protruding parts to minimise snagging during operation, while the EH 25 can be supplied with an optional offshore corrosion protection package. Both products are air operated but can also be supplied for hydraulic operation and control. All products are suitable for operation where low headroom conditions exist and are Ex rated for hazardous area operations.

The JDN Profi range of hoists cover load lift capacities from an easy handling 250kg up to an impressive 100 tonnes. The overhead hook mounting also ensures that the products can be used for conventional vertical lifting as well as horizontal or tangential pulling operations. Optional rail mounted trolleys can also be provided for traverse movements of suspended loads. The EH range of monorail hoists can be supplied to cover lifting operations from 10 to 100 tonnes, with rail width adjustment incorporated for maximum versatility.

JDN products also have sensitive, infinitely variable speed control for precise load positioning, with 100% duty loading and unlimited duty cycling. They are insensitive to dust, humidity and temperatures ranging from -20°C to +70°C. They are designed for operation in hazardous areas, with increased spark protection also available for applications involving explosion risks.

Specialised hoists for underwater operation or applications involving low temperature ‘cryogenic’ conditions can also be supplied.

The exhibition stand will be staffed by dedicated and experienced staff from the recently opened JDN premises in Aberdeen. They can provide information on the full range of JDN support services to the oil and gas industry, which includes a rental service for air hoists rated from 250kg to 100 tonnes, all available from stock and covering deliveries worldwide. This service is also complemented with site survey, system design, parts and servicing for both onshore and offshore locations.

Other forthcoming worldwide exhibitions featuring the JDN products include:
