The slogan that is the centre at this year’s HANNOVER MESSE, ‘Logistics 4.0 Meets Industry 4.0’ will see many specialists discussing topics around this, from 24th-28th April, there will be talks, presentations and panel discussions highlighting the role of intralogistics in the industrial supply chain.
The companies offering presentations will include major industry players like Bosch Connected, BVL, Fraunhofer IML, Grenzebach, IBM, INFORM, Jungheinrich, Microsoft, SALT, SAP, SSI Schäfer, STILL and TEAM.
On Tuesday, 24th April, the spotlight will be on trends and innovations in timeslots hosted by the German Logistics Association (BVL) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics (IML).
Professor Thomas Wimmer, President of BVL, will unveil a new BVL study covering the latest trends and strategies in logistics and supply chain management. The keynote speech by Professor Michael ten Hompel, Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics (IML), will provide an overview of the latest status of research and development. He will moreover delve into the question of which new technologies are coming online in the near future and how people and machines can work together in a future ‘socially networked industry’.
A highlight on Wednesday 26th April 2017 will consist of the ‘CEO Talk’, featuring Dr. Henry Puhl, CEO of STILL, Dr. Klaus-Dieter Rosenbach, Management Board Member at Jungheinrich AG, Johann Soder, General Manager for Technology at SEW Eurodrive, and Frederik Brantner, Managing Director and founder of Magazino. Key discussion points will include future scenarios for production logistics, including the role of intralogistics.
From 24th-27th April, the forum will feature over 20 big-name enterprises from the intralogistics sector, offering presentations on solutions, concepts and examples from the field covering a wide range of logistics applications.
