NSK will be exhibiting its latest bearing designs for traction motors, gearboxes and wheelsets drive units in Hall 21a, Stand 407 at Innotrans 2014. Innotrans is scheduled to take place in Berlin from 23rd to 26th September 2014, with the show expected to draw over 120,000 trade visitors.

At Security Essen, from 23rd to 26th September in Germany, Honeywell will demonstrate the company's FAAST portfolio at Booth 211 in Hall 3. Including a preview of the high sensitivity four-inlet XT device, there will be live demonstrations of FAAST achieving false alarm immunity in industrial conditions and hands-on FAAST LT and Pipe IQ design sessions.

At IMTS 2014, NUM will showcase its latest developments in machine tool CNC hardware and software technology. Highlights will include a highly cost-effective dual channel CNC kernel for designers of small to medium size machines with up to five axes, a functional safety architecture that can easily be scaled to suit any type of machine, and new grinding software for complex geometry tools.

170 attendees, 30 expert speakers and 27 exhibitors successfully explored and confronted water automation and instrumentation challeneges at the 2014 ISA WWAC Symposium. Held in Florida, USA in early August, the ISA WWAC (International Society of Automation Water/Wastewater and Automatic Controls) Symposium was a three-day event focusing on the needs of automation professionals.

Located in the Tooling & Workholding Pavilion at IMTS 2014, SGS will be showcasing the latest equipment and cutting tool technology. On the stand, the company will be machining stainless steel, composite materials, titanium and aluminium with an impressive line-up of new and featured tools. These include the Series 33 for stainless steel applications; diamond coated end mills, drills, routers for composites; T-Carb for titanium machining; and, S-Carb APR for high efficiency aluminium machining.

At the Engineering Design Show, 22nd to 23rd October in Coventry, Harmonic Drive will exhibit a range of compact and hollow shaft servo actuators. These include the LynxDrive, CHA-14 and CHA-17 lightweight hollow shaft models.

Mitsubishi Electric Europe will be exhibiting at RWM 2014 – the resource efficiency and waste management show, being held in the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham UK, 16-18 September 2014. The company will be displaying its solutions for the power industry on stand 4C44-D45 in the EfW halls, numbers 4 and 5, at the RWM show.

A series of free Power Quality Seminars are now being offered by Fluke as part of its programme of seminars for 2014 throughout the UK and Ireland. The seminars have been designed to help Facility Managers, Maintenance Engineers, Energy Consultants and Power Engineers to save money on energy bills and increase machinery lifetime.

At RWM 2014, Atlas Copco Compressors will be showcasing its full array of energy-efficient compressed air solutions, including the company’s compact GA VSD+ compressor. Launched in 2013, GA VSD+ compressors provide industry-leading energy savings of 50% on average, a 13% leap in Free Air Delivery and a canopy less than half the size of traditional fixed speed compressors.

At the 2014 Machine Building Show at the NEC in Birmingham from 30th September to 1st October, igus will be showcasing its product portfolio including the drylin W linear guide, the E4.1 light energy chain and the readychain rack.
