A theme of this year’s stand, H20-560, will be the company’s ability to provide an array of customised solutions. Such bespoke equipment can solve complex production problems or, in standard applications, substantially reduce set-up and idle times. The results are extra versatility, fewer clampings and higher levels of efficiency, accuracy and repeatability.

Showcasing its wide range of process control solutions for advanced manufacturing industries at MACH 2018 is precision engineering and manufacturing technologies company Renishaw. A high-productivity machining cell, featuring integrated process control, is on display at Renishaw’s main stand H19-430, to demonstrate how high levels of automation and connectivity can be incorporated into CNC machining operations to improve productivity levels and process capability.

The distinguished speakers who will be communicating thought-provoking presentations at the coNEXTions Technology Day taking place at the Manufacturing Technology Centre in Coventry on the 8th March, have been announced by Altus Group. In association with Accelonix, an independent company supplying equipment, support and materials within the electronics and precision manufacturing markets, Altus has secured the world’s biggest manufacturers and global suppliers to discuss a range of subjects to attendees.

At this year's JEC World, the largest international composites industry show, taking place 6th-8th March in Paris, Altair will present its comprehensive technology and expertise for the design, optimisation, and simulation of composite structures and materials. The Altair-hosted opening day conference session for ‘Simulation-driven Design for Composites’ will feature presentations from companies including Airbus, CETIM, Gordon Murray Design Limited, and Pronal demonstrating how Altair helped them create innovative products and improve their development processes for composites.

At this year’s MACH taking place from the 9th-13th April at the NEC, the latest version of VERICUT, V8.1, will be featured on CGTech’s stand 626, Hall 17.VERICUT operates independently, but can also be integrated with leading CAD/CAM systems, including Dassault Systemes CATIA, Siemens PLM NX, Autodesk PowerMill and FeatureCAM, Vero EdgeCAM, DP Technologies Esprit, CNC Software MasterCAM, Missler TopSolidCAM and Open Mind HyperMil, to provide a seamless link between the conceptual and the deliverable.

Taking place again at Birmingham’s NEC  (Halls 8, 9 and 10) from 10th -12th April 2018, alongside MACH 2018 will be the biennial co-located events; Drives & Controls, Smart Industry Expo, Fluid Power & Systems, Plant & Asset Management, and Air-TechExhibitions. However a new addition to the co-location of DFA events for 2018, is the inaugural Smart Industry Expo.

Working as a sole sales and service agent in the UK for the Italian-built Mecof range of travelling-column, horizontal-spindle milling machines and gantry-type, vertical-spindle machining centres, NCMT will be showcasing a range of products on stand H19-640 at MACH 2018. A special product will be the launch of the UMILL 1500, the portal, 5-axis vertical machining centre has mill-turn and high-speed options and joins the larger UMILL 1800 introduced to the UK at the end of 2016.
