Partnership for continued product design and engineering support

Provider of mechanical and electro-mechanical design and engineering services, CCE, has announced that it has extended its agreement to continue providing engineering product development services to a manufacturer of high-end windows and doors. The manufacturer has a dedicated team of CCE engineers working as an extension to its own product development and engineering team.

Over the years, CCE has supported development of new designs of Double Hung, Casement, Awning, Slider, and Special Shape Windows. 3D models and drawings were created in SOLIDWORKS based on the customer’s specification for aesthetics, fabrication and test criteria. Complete assemblies and sub-assemblies of each module were delivered along with detailed manufacturing drawings.

“This is an important relationship for us. This contract renewal cements our relationship as we continue to provide critical engineering support for them. What started off as engineering chores support, has evolved into CCE being an integral part of their design projects. This is the result of our team’s ability to demonstrate increasing levels of comfort with the customer’s design standards and best practises and sound understanding of their product lines,” said Vinay Wagle, CCE’s V.P. Sales and Marketing.

CCE is a product design and engineering company working with customers across various industry verticals, providing comprehensive solutions to take their product ideas all the way from design to manufacturing. CCE’s unique TrEND (Trusted Engineer Next Door) program establishes a reliable always-on communication system that fosters natural sharing of design and engineering ideas in a way as if all collaborators are in the same room. TrEND was extensively used daily to coordinate with our client through video, audio, and CAD-sharing streams.

CCE's proprietary, secured web-based Work Order Management System, PowerLink is the perfect complement to TrEND. The final design, 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings were delivered to the customer through PowerLink. PowerLink provides total visibility and accountability of engineering projects by facilitating reliable and secure communications, with a single set of documents available to all stakeholders, worldwide.

“Besides our ability to hire and retain exceptional engineering talent, what sets us apart from other players in this space is our collaboration technology backbone, comprising of TrEND and PowerLink, that are critical components of all product design and engineering relationships,” added Vinay.
