CAD download tool available with Screw Jack configurator

An online product configuration tool has been launched by Drive Lines, for its range of cubic screw jacks. The tool allows users to specify parts to their exact requirements, view a 3D model of the part as they build it, and then download free CAD files in a variety of formats.

Drive Lines specialising in power transmission solutions has worked for over 30 years with design and specification engineers, the company believes it has the ability to provide specification guidance and support to help its customers find the components which will best integrate with the system they are designing.

The launch of the new screw jack configurator simplifies the specification process further and allows users to quickly source CAD models which they use during the design phase.

Ian Carr, Managing Director of Drive Lines, commented: “Of course, all of our screw jack models are available as CAD downloads on our website. However, the popularity of the cubic screw jacks has driven us to build a new interface for the configuration tool as part of a wider project to update our website and make the browsing experience as intuitive and informative as possible.”

Carr added: “The tool is simple to use and includes a 3D model which updates as each selection is made, helping designers to quickly identify the product that best suits their need. They are then able to download a bespoke CAD model with data sheets and product catalogues which will help make the ordering process quick and simple.”
