Transformer to help power Africa
WEG is supplying its largest ever transformer to Africa. Consisting of two identical machines, this supply package will play a fundamental role in the development of the region. Weighing 348 tons each, the 500 MVA transformers are being manufactured at WEG’s factory in Blumenau, state of Santa Catarina, Brazil and will be incorporated into the electrical energy transmission system in the southern region of the African continent.

Warehouse expansion for WEG Belgium
WEG has extended its warehouse in Belgium. The expansion will increase storage space at the site by 1800 square metres (m²), facilitating future growth for the company, increasing flexibility for customers and providing new office space for staff. The additional 1800m² of storage expands on the current 4200 m² warehouse, extending the total size to 6000m². The expansion allows for the installation of three extra docks.
