Parker is launching its PSD standalone and multi-axis servo drive. Designed as the company’s next generation motion product line, the PSD range is pitched at markets that include food and packaging, material forming, textile, paper, converting and plastics machinery.

Parker has enhanced the design of its popular high speed frameless servomotor series SKW. Suitable for single and multi-spindle machine tool applications up to 21 kW, the motor neatly deploys inside the spindle.  Supplied in kit form it simplifies mechanical design of the machine.  

At OTC 2015, Parker will unveil new solutions for building tubing systems capable of meeting the immense challenges posed by higher pressures and corrosion mechanisms as oil and gas exploration and production moves into deeper offshore environments. The new technology will evolve the well-known ranges of small-bore tube fittings and valves from the Instrumentation Products Division of Parker Hannifin - the global leader in motion and control technologies.

The Electronic Controls Division of Parker Hannifin has announced the introduction of a free Apple device (iOS) compatible App for its IQAN hardware platform. The established platform provides innovative and advanced ways to provide electronic control in a wide range of mobile applications such as materials handling, forestry, construction and agriculture.  

Parker has extended the AC10 range of compact variable speed drives up to a power rating of 180 kW.  With power ratings now ranging from 0.2 to 180 kW, the AC10 series is the perfect choice for engineers who are seeking a compact, feature rich drive that is suitable for light, medium and heavy duty drive applications.  

Parker Kittiwake has successfully achieved the America Society for Testing Materials standard for its Metallic Wear Debris Sensor. The MWDS is fully compliant with the ASTM D7917-2014 standard of testing for metallic wear; making it a leading global particle debris sensor and setting the industry benchmark in effective metallic wear testing.

First launched last year by Parker, the global leader in motion and control technologies, the variable frequency AC10 Micro Drive now features an IP66/NEMA 4x rated enclosure for protection against the ingress of dust and water. The development makes the drive even more attractive to machine builders faced with designing systems for challenging operating environments

A full colour, 166-page guide on industrial drives has been launched by Parker. Featuring the company’s complete industrial drive portfolio, the catalogue is available as a printed version and in a digital 'flipbook' format. Encompassing information on AC Dives, DC Drives, Motors plus options and accessories, the catalogue features extensive reference material to help customers make an informed choice when it comes to specifying industrial drives. 

A series of miniature positioners, targeted at OEMs and system integrators in the life science sector, has been introduced by Parker Hannifin. Targeting manufacturers of laboratory equipment, medical equipment or instrumentation/metrology units, the family of Light Capacity Rodless (LCR) linear positioners are designed to automate payloads of up to 10 kg.

Parker Hannifin has introduced a new mini-lever joystick product featuring a unique Patent pending ‘fourth proportional’ feature that provides an additional degree of functionality to support increasingly popular and important ‘roto-tilt’ and articulated steering applications in materials handling, forestry equipment, and the construction industry.

Racor Division of Parker Hannifin is pleased to announce today the Racor GreenMAX Fuel Filter Water Separator. Racor delivers the ultimate filtration system with the new GreenMAX Filtration System. Parker Hannifin today introduced its compact, icountBSplus. The icountBSplus is a fully contained, portable bottle sampling system that uses laser particle counting technology to ensure the fast and accurate detection of contamination in hydraulic oils and hydrocarbon fuels. A key component of Parker’s fluid particle analysis and monitoring portfolio, the icountBSplus has been designed to help improve the reliability, productivity and profitability of production equipment and processes.

Designed utilising the company’s leadership in the provision of sterile gas solutions, the Valairdata 3 provides a quick and easy means of verifying the integrity of sterile gas filters in-line, without compromising process security. Parker domnick hunter is one of the only filter manufacturers in the world to offer a fully automated, portable, aerosol challenge integrity test instrument.

Parker Racor, a division of Parker Hannifin, has yet again been recognised in the category of green and growth for its SuperImpactor at the 2012 EEF future manufacturing awards.
