Parker Hannifin has unveiled its VSO LowPro miniature proportional valve for controlling the flow rate of inert gases in medical equipment. Just 16mm wide by 14mm tall, the valve addresses a key requirement for small portable devices where installation space is at a premium.  This ensures that medical devices can benefit from a miniature valve that doesn’t compromise on performance due to size. Typical applications for the new valve include pressure control, volumetric flow control and pulse dose control in devices such as portable oxygen concentrators, ventilators and patient monitors. 

Parker Hannifin has extended the AC10 series of compact drives to offer power ratings in 230V three-phase drives category up to 15 kW. Now with 230V three-phase power options extended up to 15 kW, and easy to use software the AC10 series is now the perfect choice for engineers and machine builders servicing a global market.   

Parker Hannifin has announced a new Ethernet (IP) camera to provide a vision capability to vehicles using the recently announced IQAN-MD4 family of master display modules. The IQAN-SV camera fully integrates with the IQAN-MD4 facilitating a complete control and vision system thus allowing powerful vision-based applications for mobile machinery and vehicles to be developed. Its small size and flexible mounting makes it ideal as a blind spot monitor or rear view camera.

Parker Hannifin is extending the power range of its popular IP66/NEMA 4x protected, variable frequency AC10 Compact Drive series up to 90 kW.

Parker Hannifin has recently introduced a 40mm size to its highly-dynamic and compact SMH/SMB Series brushless servo motor range. The 40mm variant not only extends the torque capability in its smallest size starting from 0.19 Nm, but also offers a high degree of flexibility to food processing, packaging, robot and handling machinery OEMs due to an extensive range of motor frame configurations and options.

Total RC is standardising on manifolds produced by the Instrumentation Products Division of Parker Hannifin. The decision follows several years’ extensive temperature, pressure and corrosion testing of products from different manufacturers – Parker is the first company to have secured a 100 percent pass rate.

Parker has announced it will be exhibiting at Gastech 2015, the world’s leading natural gas and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) conference and exhibition. Parker has expanded its series of ETT linear motor rod-style actuators, further enhancing its offer within the linear motor product range. Parker has evolved its popular Global Filter Regulator Lubricator (FRL) air preparation systems, specifically the integral threaded P31 ¼” ported and P32 ¼” to ½” ported series, to deliver excellent flow to size ratios with a new aesthetically pleasing and modern look to complement the latest machinery designs. This next generation of FRL systems can deliver up to 10 bar of pressure as standard (polycarbonate bowl) and, with the addition of an aluminium bowl, they can deliver up to 17 bar, ensuring high performance pneumatic systems perform at their best.  As one of the most compact modular products on the market, the units can now be comfortably specified in applications where larger FRL systems previously could not be accommodated due to space restrictions. Constructed from robust yet lightweight aluminium, the new designs are modularly compatible with the existing Parker Global FRL series using patented modular connection system, with high levels of standardisation throughout.

Parker has introduced its P1D-H rod lock pneumatic cylinders for applications where safety is critical. P1D-H cylinders have been purposely designed to hold loads safely in position even when there is an unexpected failure in the compressed air supply. With this special functionality, the P1D-H represents an essential safety component in static applications that require extra safety for the protection of both objects and workers.
