ESAB has launched a comprehensive range of roller beds to help improve the productivity and quality of round fabrications such as wind turbine towers, pipelines and vessels.

ESAB Cutting Systems' COOLJET high performance oxy-fuel cutting torch is now available in a low-priced conversion package. Oxy-fuel cutting machine users of any type cutting mild steel can now get more from their investment by upgrading to the high performance levels offered by the Cooljet.

Designed specifically for the sheet metal fabricators and the heating and ventilation fabricator, ESAB Cutting Systems new E-Vent plasma machine is ideal for sheet metal and ductwork cutting. It can be used to plasma cut steel blanks from 0.75mm to 20.00mm thick with either the ESP 101 Plasmarc or the Powercut 1300 power source. The latter is designed specifically for material up to 3mm thick, typically used for ductwork and pipeline construction. For maximum productivity, E-Vent has a fast positioning speed of 30 metres/minute when processing sheet steel.

With the introduction of ESAB Cutting Systems' new Quattrojet oxy-fuel flame cutting system, new levels of productivity and performance have been brought to this established cutting process. Available for use with propane and natural gas and capable of cutting metals from 3 - 300 mm thick, Quattrojet incorporates a number of features including integrated height sensor and flame monitor, integrated ignition system and a quick change cutting nozzle. Together these features are a further step towards full cutting automation as well as ensuring a safer cutting environment.

The Steel People, Aylesford based steel fabricators specialising in all types of metalwork and steelwork for the construction industry, are reaping the benefits of investment in an Eagle M3 plasma cutting and marking machine from ESAB Cutting Systems. The Vision 51R is available in a number of packages that are drop-on replacements for existing customers using ESAB NCE controllers as well as other types.
