FCT Assembly Holds Successful Open House at California Facility
FCT Assembly held a successful Open House at its new facility in Milpitas, Calif. on July 12, 2010. The Open House was well attended with more than 125 guests.

“Attendees showed great interest in the Root Cause Analysis services provided by the Fine Line Stencil division, which provides free problem-solving services for challenging projects. Additionally, the A-Laser division’s ability to work with tight tolerance applications for insulating materials through UV laser cutting processes drew significant praise,” commented Josh Saunders, VP of FCT Assembly’s Parts Division.

At the Open House, company representatives walked attendees through a variety of processes, from CAD design though laser cutting, in a guided tour of the facility. Attendees had the opportunity to view products from DEK, Advanced Tooling Design and FCT Assembly, including FCT Solder, Fine Line Stencil and A-Laser. After the tour, lunch was provided to all attendees.

FCT Assembly has numerous facilities in the United States, and is one of the electronics industry’s leading manufacturers of lead-free solder products, superior quality stencils, and precision laser cut parts. The new facility in California gives FCT Assembly the ability to respond the same day to many of its customers’ needs while maintaining ease of access to shipping for non-local customers. Additionally, the increased square footage and building design allows FCT to bring on new equipment and capabilities to meet growing demands for services.
