Piezo-Z Slide Scanner for 3D / Super Resolution Microscopy
The new PI nano™ piezo-Z stages are optimized for very fast step and settle and easy integration into high-resolution microscope applications. They feature a very low profile a large aperture, and travel ranges of up to 200 µm with sub-nanometer closed-loop resolution–ideal for leading-edge microscopy and imaging applications. The piezo stages are designed for inverted microscopes from the four major manufacturers: Leica, Nikon, Olympus and Zeiss. The low profile design of 20 mm (0.8”) facilitates the integration. The large aperture accommodates microscopy accessories such as slide holders, Petri dish holders, etc.
Features & Advantages
 Extremely Fast Step & Settle, From 5 msec
 Cost Effective due to Piezoresistive Sensors
 Optional 25x25 mm long travel stage serves as a stable basis
 Low Profile for Easy Integration: 20 mm (0.8)
 100 and 200 µm Travel Ranges
 Longest Lifetime with Ceramic Encapsulated PICMA® Piezo Technology
 Compatible w/ Leading Image Acquisition Software Packages
 Closed-Loop Control for High Repeatability and Accuracy
 Digital Piezo Controller & Software Included

Higher Performance at Lower Cost: Packaged with Digital Controller
A compact digital piezo controller improves linearity and allows fast adaptation to changing load / settling / speed requirements and simple tuning from the controlling computer. It comes with three interfaces (USB, Analog and RS-232) for seamless compatibility with different control signals. The controller is also compatible with all major image acquisition packages and comes with a wide variety of software drivers and programming examples. The use of piezoresistive sensors allows for reduced cost despite the high performance.
