ABLE is pleased to offer the new Computrac MAX-4000XL moisture in solids analyser. The 4000-XL provides the same reliability and ruggedness of the MAX-2000XL but with 25% faster throughput. Significant performance enhancements include uniform heating and a lid fan which rapidly cools the heat chamber to reduce time between tests and allow for greater ease of use and accuracy. A colour LCD display comes as standard on this instrument to make it more user friendly.

The 4000-XL also has a parameter expert feature as an optional extra, which assists the user with the development and optimization of test parameters to maximise accuracies and correlation to a specified standard reference method for moisture/solids measurement. An optional web service allows a user with internet explorer to download a complete calibration report, view the LCD screen, download and upload test programmes, download test results and test graph data and download an audit log. The audit log tracks test program changes, calibrations test result deletions, system errors and power on events.

Other new features include rate of time reliability, a temperature ramp control, rate graphing capabilities, user defined custom calculations, USB connectivity and the memory storage will now hold the last 1000 tests and the last 100 graphs.
