Latest Data Acquisition Software Enhances Measurement With New Functions

HBM has improved its catmanAP software with a variety of new functions making it easier than ever to take measurements and analyze data. The latest 3.1 version includes convenient display filters to help engineers keep track when using large numbers of measurement channels. Equally, the new ‘cycle counter’ mathematics function simplifies counting the periods in a periodic signal without connecting and parameterizing an additional hardware channel.
The catman®AP version 3.1 supports the SoMat eDAQ series of mobile data acquisition measurement equipment that is specifically designed for very demanding environmental conditions. Using catman®AP 3.1 makes it very easy to prepare standalone measurements as it provides a convenient way to parameterize eDAQ. Measured values are easily recorded and stored in the device without the need for a connected PC and can be read out and analyzed on completion of the measurement.
