New M7100 pressure transducer is available from Variohm EuroSensor
The newly released M7100 pressure transducer from Measurement Specialities is now available from Variohm EuroSensor. The ruggedised, automotive grade M7100 features a 0.5 – 4.5Vdc ratiometric output and is firmly aimed at heavy equipment and challenging environment use for medium to extremely high pressure ranges up to 3000 Bar.
With a -40°C to +125°C temperature range, accuracy to 0.25%, shock rating of 50g and vibration resistance to 20g, the new sensor is well suited to HVAC&R, construction equipment, compressors, hydraulics and other demanding environments where extreme durability is called for.

The M7100 is a next generation transducer design based on Measurement Specialities' field proven Microfused™ pressure sensing technology which is used in hundreds of millions of automotive transducer applications worldwide.. The one piece stainless steel pressure cavity has no O-rings or organic media and its improved IP67 packaging design provides water resistance to 1 metre with a higher resistance against hydraulic shock and significantly upgraded electronics that ensure maximum signal integrity against electrical noise.

The standard version features a 1/4 NPT pipe thread allowing a leak-proof, all metal sealed system with a with an integral Packard or Sumitomo connector. Optional pressure ports include M10 x1.0mm male and ¼-19 BSP with alternative electrical connectors available. The M7100 exceeds the latest industrial CE requirements for noise immunity including surge protection and is overvoltage protected to 16 VDC in both positive and reverse polarity.

Variohm EuroSensor designs, develops and sources a comprehensive range of sensor technologies for linear and rotary position, load, force, vibration and temperature - providing complete pre-sale and post-sale application support for demanding measurement applications throughout industry, agriculture, construction, autosports and research.
