Gems Sensors & Controls has launched the new TurboFlow FT-330 series of low-cost, highly accurate turbine flow rate sensors for drinking water dispensing applications. The FT-330 is an OEM flow sensor featuring proven Hall-effect turbine technology in a small package for years of dependable, worry-free service. All wetted parts are made from FDA-approved materials including Noryl, polyamide or nylon composite, Delrin (Polyoxymethylene (POM)) and 316 stainless steel.

With its advanced point infrared combustible gas sensing element, the new IR400 Combustible Gas Detector from General Monitors delivers reliable protection against explosive hydrocarbon gases with a low power design that installs in minutes and features heated optics to eliminate condensation and includes a dirty optics indicator for fail safe operation.

For the use under difficult conditions on oil fields and in refineries, Baumer’s product segment Process Instrumentation has developed a range of special safety pressure gauges. Sensing elements made of stainless steel or Monel as well as polypropylene or phenolic cases reliably protect the devices against aggressive substances.

Contrinex has introduced a new range of safety light curtains that sets new standards in terms of reliability and value for money. Known as Safetinex, the modular design allows fully tested systems to be delivered on a very short time scale.
