The new Model R82, 26 GHz Two-wire non contact Radar Transmitter from Magnetrol is a high performance, yet low-cost level transmitter based on the concept of Pulse Burst Radar. Short bursts of 26GHz microwave energy are emitted and subsequently reflected from the liquid level surface. Liquid level is then calculated by applying the user's tank height and sensor Offset values.

Endevco Corporation has marked the 6,000th successful field installation of its industry best-selling Model 2221F, a high impedance, piezoelectric accelerometer, designed for high temperature shock and vibration measurements. The exceptional, proven performance characteristics of Model 2221F have enabled it to be used historically across a variety of aerospace, flight test, and other demanding applications, most notably, as part of NASA’s Space Shuttle Return to Flight Program, as well as within the shuttle programs of today. Model 2221F is used to help verify that no detrimental damage has occurred on the leading edge of the shuttle wing, prior to its return from orbit.

With the series ZPN, ZDPN and ZT, Baumer offers very robust pressure and temperature switches developed especially for the use in nuclear power stations. The pressure switches are suitable for pneumatic or hydraulic control, for power generation safety equipments and for pressurized chambers control. They are resistant to short duration overpressure and show a good vibration resistance. The ZPN can measure a gauge pressure from -1 bar up to 600 bar with a very small intermediate range from -2 mbar up to 10 mbar. The ZDPN measures a differential pressure from 2 mbar up to 120 bar.

MTS announces completion of its R-Series Ethernet POWERLINK sensor for use in dynamic control applications with short cycle times. This product adds to the MTS portfolio of absolute, non-contact linear-positions sensors for real-time feedback that also includes EtherCAT interface. A resolution of 1 micron is possible for lengths from 25 mm to 20,000 mm. Position and velocity measurements can be provided for up to four locations on the sensor to ensure optimum control characteristics even when driving complex, multi-position tasks.

The modernized, digital E3 Modulevel from Magnetrol is an advanced, intrinsically safe two-wire instrument utilizing simple buoyancy principle to detect and convert liquid level changes into a stable output signal. The E3 Modulevel supports FOUNDATION fieldbusTM, HART, AMS, FDT/PACTware communication protocols.
