The AVT Marlin F-131B NIR is an extremely compact monochrome FireWire camera equipped with a highly sensitive 2/3 CMOS sensor with Global Shutter, giving SXGA resolution and high-quality images in 8-bit format. This sensor offers almost twice the sensitivity in the far red and near infrared wavelength ranges compared to the standard sensor.

Now it is simple and cost-effective to retro-fit 4-20mA temperature transmitters to existing Pt100 or thermocouple sensors without removing them from the process or having to replace them with alternative assemblies.

Diffuse background suppression (BGS) photoelectric sensors are used in applications where accurate differentiation between the target and potentially interfering backgrounds is essential. As with all such set-ups, when using this technique it is vital that only the target is sensed, regardless of the colour, surface and shape of the background and target.
