These boots are made for safety

The portfolio of industrial protective clothing at RS Components has been strengthened by the addition of 13 new ranges of safety footwear. It increases the choices available for workers in environments such as construction, agriculture, manufacturing, materials handling or building maintenance. The new ranges, from Caterpillar and Dr Martens, include both lightweight and heavy-duty options, boots or trainers, pull-on or lace-up styles, and with synthetic or leather uppers in black or various tan shades.

Steel or composite safety toe, with rugged soles, provide dependable protection against hazards in the workplace.

“The values of these respected brands provide the ultimate assurance of high-quality, high-performing and durable footwear that will keep its appearance for the long term,” said Amanda Bradley, Global Category Manager, Personal Protection Clothing at RS.

The new styles from Caterpillar include the Moor, Infrastructure and Streamline safety trainers, and the Holton, Dimen, Electric, Spiro, and Supremacy safety boots.

From Dr Martens, RS is now stocking the ICON 2228 pull-on safety boots, ICON 2216 lace-up safety shoes, and ICON 7B10 lace-up safety boots.

The new ranges extend the current portfolio of safety footwear from leading brands such as DeWalt, Dickies, Honeywell and Timberland, in addition to the numerous Caterpillar and Dr Martens choices already in stock.
