Respirators, filters extend personal protection range

JSP’s Press To Check filters allow the assurance of a secure fit, thus enabling users to check an effective seal is achieved each time the mask is put on by simply pressing both filters to block the flow of air and then inhaling to detect any air entering the mask. This provides a quick way of checking for leaks.

A short video is available explaining how to verify the seal using Press To Check filters. The masks and filters can be used in a wide variety of applications such as construction, site clearance, disinfection of contaminated areas, welding, paint spraying and many others.

RS is stocking the complete JSP respirator range, including the Force8 half mask and three classes of filters. These give a choice of ratings for construction dust only (P3), organic gas vapour and construction dust (A2P3), or multi-gas vapour and construction dust (ABEK1P3).

Masks and replacement filters are available individually or as three separate kits comprising one respirator mask and one pair of filters, giving a choice of each type of filter. A guide to selecting the right filter for various industrial tasks is also available.

The Force8 masks and Press To Check filters, winners of the BSIF Product Innovation Award 2014, join the JSP fall-arrest harnesses recently added to the RS portfolio, bringing the total number of JSP personal protection products available at RS to 120.
