The perfect safety brake for any vertical / gravity loaded axis, the ROBAâ-topstopâ is a new fully sealed drive-side mounted brake from Mayr Power Transmissions.
Designed to meet the demands of EN ISO13849-1, the compact and lightweight ROBAâ-topstopâ can be easily retrofitted to existing servo systems to prevent uncontrolled vertical movements in a power off or emergency stop situation.
ROBAâ-topstopâ is available as a single or double circuit brake with either a shaft output to connect to a gearbox or an integrated plug-in coupling to allow connection directly to a ball-screw.
Available in three standard sizes ranging from 12Nm to 170Nm ROBAâ-topstopâ offers safe and reliable braking even with the motor removed.
With a housing sealed to IP54 and flanges that can be easily adapted to any application, ROBAâ-topstopâ provides a simple, safe and economical vertical axis braking solution.
