NEW ZSM ENABLING SWITCH FROM EUCHNER PROVIDES KEY TO SAFETY & VERSATILITY
The new ZSM enabling switch from Euchner is more than just an ordinary manually operated enabling device. It features a modern, modular, lightweight and ergonomic design, which makes it eminently suitable for many different control and safety related functions.
Enabling switches are subject to continuous manual actuation, and used together with other control switches for commands enabling potentially hazardous conditions to be run. These switches are used wherever personnel are required to work directly on running machines and systems, with the obvious associated hazards and dangers. This is necessary, for example, during setting up, programming, testing or servicing work.

Euchner have specialised in the development of enabling switches for many decades. The company is now bringing a new highlight onto the market with its latest ZSM enabling switch, which is more than just an ordinary enabling device. Thanks to its modular design, a large number of additional functions can be integrated. Additional components, including a stop device, an LED indicator or a key-operated switch, means that the ZSM offers maximum versatility and turns the unit virtually into a small hand-held pendant station.

In order to achieve maximum acceptance among users, attention has been paid to comfortable, balanced handling when designing the switch. With its rubberised grip, the switch lies securely in the hand. The well thought-out design and the low weight permit fatigue-free working, even over long periods. A special new feature of a vibration signal built into the device indicates to the operator that the switch is still in the enabling position, providing added security where safe operating conditions are of paramount importance.
