The new generation of TwisterChain® circular chain from energy chain specialist igus® significantly improves smoothness, stability and strength over earlier versions. It has a modular construction in width, height and radius and therefore provides very flexible use in applications requiring rotating movements up to 400° or more, as well as where robust solutions are required.

Sturdier than the previous chain, the new igus TwisterChain achieves rotary speeds up to 2 m/s and has movements +/- 200˚. This, along with a new trough, provides a highly dynamic and quiet operation in the most challenging environments. It also has a more cable-friendly, smooth interior preventing cable damage, and the snap open crossbars in the inner radius make it easier to fit the cables.

The new generation TwisterChain is ideal for use with robots, handling and packaging machines, glass machines and general mechanical engineering.
