Three new additions made to the wiring family

This year’s 100% Design show will see Legrand unveil its three latest additions to its wiring accessory collections, Arteor, Synergy and Art d’Arnould.

The Arteor exclusive, a range of 32 high-end finishes is described as giving ‘that all important luxury bespoke look’. Inspired by global lifestyle and design trends, the range of eight collections has a Neutral palette meaning it’s suitable for personalisation with logos and icons.

Legrand also created the Arteor and a wood collection, with inspiration being nature. This combines a wood grid plate with a well-crafted modular interior. The natural theme continues with a Leather collection with each switch being different due to the natural textures and finish of wood and leather materials.

Richard Hayward at Legrand said: “The exclusive collection is designed for those looking for that individual touch, right down to the last detail. For too long, designs have failed on simple features such as light switches and sockets, but that needn’t be the case. Our designs reflect current trends and we are constantly looking for ways to help customers to live their life better through a balance of technology and design.”

The Synergy wiring accessories, launched in 2005, has evolved to feature a range of new options and designs to meet the needs of a broad customer range. Having to keep up with modern life is essential and this is shown in a number of functions such as USB chargers, Universal dimmers and RCD sockets.

Offering smooth contours and no visible screws, this Sleek Design is slim and compact, whilst other upgrades include the addition of a blue LED light that appears when the socket is activated.

Hayward commented: “Whether a home, an office or even a hotel, Synergy offers the diversity of style and functionality that make it the ideal companion for any interior. From the simple functionality of a traditional wiring accessory, to smart home capabilities, all of Legrand’s wiring devices help end users to live life better no matter which collection they choose.”

And finally of the third, the Art d’Arnould arrives from its French artisan brand Arnould, which blends design and technology into an assortment of made-to-order fittings.

Designed for hospitality and residential markets, this range is described to bring ‘a European twist’ on the already extensive Legrand wiring accessories in the UK. With a wide selection of finishes and functions, these include home automation controls and the monobloc designs bring many combinations to the finish.

Hayward added: “Just as the fashion houses draw inspiration from numerous sources; from history to the natural world, wiring accessories are no different. For Art d’Arnould we see a blend of style, technology and history all coming together in a stunning collection of accessories for the luxury market.

“No longer are homes and businesses constricted to white plastic switches and sockets, there is a choice and Art d’Arnould reflects the need for these tailored design solutions.”

Art d’Arnould, like its sister ranges Synergy and Arteor, also offers the flexibility to include a series of technological advances such as automated lighting and AV control as well as multimedia functionality such as USB and HDMI.
