MACH 2010 – NEW FACES AND GREAT RESPONSE

“It really struck a chord with so many of our stand visitors and I can honestly say that the majority of them were new to HepcoMotion®,” explained Sales Manager, John Palmer. “That’s exactly what we hope to achieve at any show and it’s so encouraging that manufacturers are seeking to invest in automation.”

HepcoMotion® products are increasingly in demand in assembly-form as manufacturers search for the most time-efficient solutions for automating processes. This is a significant growth area for HepcoMotion® whose roots are in component supply. “Our MACH visitors were very interested in this aspect of our service and indeed many of the PRT2 projects discussed were for sub-assemblies.”

The new PRT2 precision ring track system extends customer choice by a massive 45% by introducing a substantially expanded range of sizes, including stainless steel elements as standard. This friction-free, debris-tolerant system also adds several new options that allow innovative and highly reliable technical solutions to be engineered.

“We now have many live projects for this new introduction and they are quite diverse,” John Palmer concluded. “A typical example is a three axis assembly robot where the HepcoMotion® ring with gear drive provides an ideal platform on which to mount a robot. The large diameter disc with HepcoMotion® bearings gives support of the periphery, ensuring excellent stability and friction free motion.”
