Dowel pins with precision

These dowel pins are used to accurately locate and position parts and components in an almost-infinite range of manufacturing and assembly operations. They are precision engineered to exacting tolerances and are available in hardened and ground steel with a Silver Steel variant.

Metric dowel pins are available in sizes m6 (3-20) 10-100mm long and imperial (inch) dowels sized at ¹/₈” to ½” diameter and ½” to 3” long versions complete the range offered by WDS.

Variations on the basic design include: plain dowels, extractable dowels, and extractable Silver Steel dowels. (Silver Steel is a high carbon tool steel that can be ground to very close tolerances and has a highly polished finish. Dowels made from Silver Steel can be considered to be precision components.)
