In order to take customisation to the next level, and to meet high product and performance demands, a new cast-on-strap machine RoCOS X1 has been developed by BM-Rosendahl. By observing battery market needs and focusing on manufacturers’ requirements, BM-Rosendahl has added a number of features to help boost performance.
A successful battery manufacturing solution is the result of a number of factors. To name a few, BM-Rosendahl has developed a new lug drying station, sped up the turning table and integrated a very precise mould. The double-track loading keeps production smooth and performance high, both before and after the cast-on-process. The result is that the RoCOS X1 processes up to five automotive batteries per minute.
Today easy battery machine operation is essential in every situation. BM-Rosendahl has put a lot of effort into making it as intuitive and user friendly as possible. The complete HMI has been renewed and appears in a SMART design with pushbutton homing after machine stop.
The new pot levelling pump helps to continuously keep the lead at the same amount. The company also implemented a pushbutton change over, which makes battery machine handling easier for personnel.
