Thermo Fisher Scientific to Showcase Superior Connectivity Solutions at 2010 Winter Conference on Plasma Spectrochemistry

The Thermo Scientific booth features the latest developments in inductively coupled plasma, dc plasma, microwave plasma, glow discharge and laser sources, including the iCAP 6200 ICP emission spectrometer, the XSERIES 2 ICP-MS, the ELEMENT XR high-resolution ICP-MS and the NEPTUNE Plus high-resolution multicollector ICP-MS instruments. In addition, for the first time the company will showcase its ELEMENT 2 high resolution magnetic sector field ICP-MS with the new innovative jet interface, which offers increased sensitivity from 1 Mcps/ppb to 200 Mcps/ppb. All of the ICP and ICP-MS systems are capable of interfacing with third-party devices to facilitate more effective analyses, ensuring an efficient workflow for all applications. The products integrate effortlessly into the instrument software and require no additional software, minimizing user training and increasing familiarization. Most connections utilize bi-directional communication for full integration and sample efficiency.

Thermo Fisher technicians will be available within the booth throughout the conference to discuss applications and make suggestions for enhancing laboratory workflows.
