Scott Brothers Exhibits Three New Ranges of Vacuum Storage Bags at Exclusively Housewares 2009

With vacuum storage steadily growing as a product segment in the UK, retailers are realizing the benefits of stocking space saving solutions. In the current economic climate, where householders are seeking new ways to improve their home rather than move to a bigger house, it is even more attractive to consumers to buy practical and user-friendly storage solutions. Scott Brothers will be introducing a selection of products from the new and improved Pack-Mate vacuum storage bag range, which now feature colourful new designs, re-designed cap-less valves for ease and speed of use, and improved user instructions. Redesigned using elegant tones of green, the bags are now fashionable, stylish and striking. The new design has been applied to the three core ranges: Flat Storage, Volume Storage and Travel Storage (for use without a vacuum). The three core families are now packaged in high-impact, high-quality full colour gravure printed film packs, reducing space whilst increasing the impact of hanging retail displays.

Separate designs distinguish the travel bags from the larger vacuum-compressible items in the Pack-Mate range. The travel bag features a simple, smart, gender-neutral striped design, particularly suited to look good in all luggage. The larger vacuum-compressible bags feature a leaf print which blends tastefully with designs currently fashionable in household furnishing including carpets, cushions and upholstery. This decorative design enables the bags to be stored where they can be seen. All Pack-Mate vacuum storage bags now come with Q2 valve technology™ to further improve compression – making for faster compression and even greater ease in use. The new innovative valve, which, uniquely, automatically opens and closes as the vacuum cleaner nozzle is applied, and switched on and off, makes extracting air from the bags much simpler.

Also on stand 237, Scott will launch the Space Bag Travel Cube, demonstrated for the first time in the UK. Also displayed will be a range of Space Bag vacuum storage bags, exclusively distributed in the UK by Scott Brothers Ltd., including the innovative, stackable Space Bag Tote storage bags; the Space Bag hanging bag (which protects suits, dresses and hanging clothes and can also be used for travel), and an extensive range of Space Bag vacuum seal space saver storage bags, which can be filled with bedding, clothes, duvets and linens etc. for optimum storage. Space Bag has rebranded their entire range, to include eye-catching pictogram instructions, and a new, faster valve, speeding up compression whilst still ensuring the integrity of the seal.
