Scott Brothers, the sole distributor of the Seeley range of portable evaporative coolers to the UK hire and retail markets, showcased several coolers from the innovative Seeley Convair and Breezair ranges and secured a number of new stockists and leads, despite unseasonal summer weather.
Duncan Pratt-Thompson, General Manager at Scott Brothers Ltd., comments, “Following the success of the 2009 show we were very excited to be returning to exhibit our energy-efficient range of evaporative air coolers. This year was even more rewarding and we received a lot of interest from tool and event hire companies who are keen to add our coolers to their fleet.”
The successful Seeley Convair and Breezair ranges were a hit this year. In comparison to traditional coolers they deliver superior air quality and a high cooling effect whilst using little energy and use no refrigerant chemicals, providing steady cooling in a safe, cost-effective and environmentally friendly way.
Portable air coolers are ideal as temporary cooling solutions, particularly suited to the hire and professional trade markets. With the British climate being erratic and unpredictable hiring an air cooler is a quick, easy and cost effective solution when air conditioning is needed in a hurry. Hire companies are now realising the advantages of being able to offer a wide selection of energy-efficient cooling solutions and are starting to stock portable air coolers in expectation of a rise in demand as weather improves in the UK.
Duncan comments “Scott Brothers is focused on developing wide spread adoption of energy-efficient portable evaporative coolers in the hire industry, suitable for cooling a large number of facilities from homes, offices, factories, large warehouses, mezzanine floors, showrooms, shops, conference halls, temporary tents or marquees through to smaller rooms such as a conservatory or bedroom. Our energy-efficient coolers offer a practical, clean and safe alternative to conventional air conditioners that can be expensive and environmentally harmful.”
