Lloyd Instruments will be showing equipment from its impressive range of materials testing equipment for the medical and medical packaging industries at MEDTEC China 2008. This includes the highly popular LFPlus low force single column materials testing instrument with NEXYGENPlus control and analysis software, the Davenport MFI-10 melt flow indexer and the Chatillon® TCD225 Series Digital Force Tester and LTCM-100 Series Motorised Tester, together with a series of force gauges. Lloyd Instruments has extensive experience in medical device, medical packaging and pharmaceutical manufacturing industries, with hundreds of systems installed worldwide.
The PC-controlled LFPlus will be equipped with a variety of grips and fixtures used for tensile, compression, flexural and friction test applications. Its NEXYGENPlus control and analysis software incorporates powerful security and audit trails to help companies meet FDA 21 CFR Part 11 regulations. The LFPlus is ideally suited for evaluating the mechanical properties and performance of medical devices, components and medical packaging.

The MFI-10 is an intelligent, modular system for the determination of the melt flow properties of a polymer. It is used extensively in production and quality control to ensure batch-to-batch consistency and is renowned for accuracy, repeatability, and reproducibility of results. It offers flexibility of testing and increased automation, especially when used under PC control with NEXYGENPlus software.

The Chatillon TCD225 Series Digital Force Tester (1 kN / 225 lbf) is an advanced, stand-alone force testing system optimized for production, quality control and engineering applications, featuring an innovative multi-stage testing function to allow customer test set-ups to be created with no external PC control or software.

The LTCM-100 Series Motorised Tester (500 N / 110 lbf), combined with a Chatillon gauge, is perfect for applications requiring an economical solution to tensile or compression testing. It features a large work area, enabling it to be used in production, QA/QC, laboratory or research environments.
