Honeywell opened registration today for its Gamewell-FCI fire systems seminars Addressing New Codes Using New Technology. A number of highly-respected engineers are prepared to cover the most significant changes in the latest life safety codes and standards, followed by a technical overview of solutions equipped to meet new requirements from industry experts. The free, four-hour seminars will be hosted in 15 different states and attendees will receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits.
New requirements of the International Building Code (IBC), NFPA 72: National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, and ANSI/UL 2572 Mass Notification Systems standards will be discussed for the benefit of architects, engineers, authorities having jurisdiction, and code enforcement officials. Managers of educational, healthcare, hospitality, military, retail and commercial facilities are also strongly encouraged to attend.
Seminars will cover the benefits and proper applications of code-mandated technologies, including aspiration detection, low frequency sounders, emergency communication/mass notification systems, and building systems compliance testing software.
