Free SERCOS Seminars Announced

Free one-day seminars on the latest advances for the SERCOS interface for motion, safety and I/O are scheduled on September 14, 2009 in the Minneapolis area and on September 16, 2009 in Atlanta. Each seminar will be a half-day general introduction to SERCOS and a half-day in-depth technical discussion on how to develop and implement SERCOS.

Attendees will learn about the features and functions of Real-time Ethernet SERCOS III and how SERCOS III compares to other real-time Ethernet solutions. Topics will include the advanced I/O features of SERCOS, controller-to-controller and direct slave-to-slave communications and SERCOS automation solutions. Newest features such as the encoder profile and open-source master software driver library will be presented. Leading manufacturers will display their latest SERCOS products.
