The Tip-Ex show this year proved as popular as ever with manufacturers, body builders and operators attending the UK’s tipping industry show. As usual company JOST were present and were promoting their ‘industry leading’ Edbro tipping cylinders, as well as their range of fifth wheels, landing legs, couplings and axle systems.
One particular interest with the show this year, was Edbro’s centenary celebrations which marked 100 years since Maurice Edwards developed the first ever hoist to be powered by a truck engine.
Edbro is now one of the leading manufacturers for lightweight heavy-duty on-vehicle hydraulic systems with over 75% of cylinders exported around the world, all built here in the Great Britain.
The product range includes front end, underbody and ejector cylinders, waste handling equipment and customised hydraulic kit solutions. The popularity of the brand was evident at the show by the sheer number of vehicles which were sporting Edbro tipping gear.
To help celebrate the occasion the outside stand was manned by tipping vehicles of all vintages, all of which were sporting their original Edbro gear. Not only did this prove the ‘Fit and Forget’ promise that is delivered with every cylinder, it was also a real treat for all the enthusiasts who attended.
