Colortrac Inc will show the award-winning SmartLF wide format scanners at the Graphics of the Americas trade show & exhibition

Distributors, dealers and end users visiting the show will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations of Colortracs acclaimed, industry-leading large format SmartLF scanning solutions at the Colortrac booth #1011.

Highlight products include the best selling SmartLF Ci 40 technical imaging scanners and the SmartLF Gx+ 42 graphics scanners.

Both of these large format scanners were rated Outstanding and Best in Class by BERTL, (Business Equipment Research and Testing Laboratory), an authoritative and independent business product evaluator. Colortrac is the first and only large format scanner manufacturer to achieve a Best in Class distinction for both its CIS (contact image sensor) and CCD (charge coupled device) imaging technology.

Also on display will be the SmartLF Gx+ 56, the world's widest large format color graphics scanner. At the other, shorter end of the scale, Colortrac Inc will be demonstrating two A1 / D-size large format scanners, the 28 wide, CCD-based SmartLF Gx+ 28 and the new 24 wide, CIS-based SmartLF Ci 24, its latest scanner.

The SmartLF Ci 24 uses exactly the same design as the award-winning SmartLF Ci 40. Both offer the unique and practical benefit of a front exit media path. When used as a desktop scanner, the SmartLF Ci 24's small footprint and front exiting media offers a huge space-saving advantage over rear exiting scanners.

All SmartLF scanners will be demonstrated running Colortrac's SmartLF All-in-One Software, (supplied with every SmartLF scanner), as well as the optional and more powerful ScanWorks (for scanning technical documents and maps) and CopySmart (professional color capture and scan to copy software).

The Graphics of the Americas 2010 Exhibition is now in its 35th year. It is one of the US graphic industry's largest, annual events attracting almost 10,000 print suppliers, designers and creative professionals from North America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
