Colortrac, an important innovator in the field of wide format scanning technology, has achieved a breakthrough in improving the scanning workflow of large format documents with the launch of the SmartWorks Pro software family. These new Touch Screen enabled products are designed to utilise all the features of the SmartLF scanner family in a way that improves the scanning performance and assures great color images, straight out of the box.

Colortrac Limited, the NEW leader and innovator in large format scanners, has further extended its commitment to profitable business expansion with the appointment of Rob van Brakel to its senior management team. He joins the British wide format scanner manufacturer as their new Marketing Manager with worldwide responsibility for developing and implementing all elements of Colortrac's marketing activities.

Colortrac,will showcase a comprehensive range of advanced high definition SmartLF large format map and technical document scanners at the ESRI World-Wide User Conference in San Diego, California, the world's biggest Geographic Information Systems (GIS) event, (14-16 July 2010, Booth, # 616 / 618).

Colortrac will be demonstrating some new products on their booth #112 at the IRgA 2010 Convention & Trade Show being held at the Palm Springs Convention Center, California, USA, (May 19th - 21st, 2010).

In May 2009 Colortrac Ltd completed the sale of 26 SmartLF Ci 40m (monochrome) high resolution technical imaging scanners to the Lebanese Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Colortrac Ltd has announced its fourth generation contact image sensor (CIS) large format scanner range, the SmartLF Ci 40 Series. These high definition (HD) 40 technical document scanners are designed to provide AEC, CAD and GIS professionals with instant-on, walk-up scanning and copying direct to the drawing office network via Gigabit Ethernet or fast USB2 connection.

Colortrac's CopySmart professional colour managed scan-to-copy software is now available with specialist printer drivers which support Canon's first 44 high-speed printers for the AEC, CAD and GIS market, the imagePROGRAF iPF810 and imagePROGRAF iPF820 series.

Colortrac Limited has announced the appointment of Matthew Harris as Director of Operations, effective from 1st September 2008. Matthew Harris brings to Colortrac more than 30 years of experience gained in senior appointments within the British electronics, telecommunications, safety and quality certification industries.
