SIGGRAPH attendees will have an opportunity to experience Bunkspeed’s revolutionary CGI applications at Booth 311 in the Los Angeles Convention Center, and at the SIGGRAPH Studio, an on-site computer lab that will feature Bunkspeed’s rendering software, HyperShot, on 70 workstations.
Throughout the conference, Bunkspeed will demonstrate “CGI Made Simple” with HyperShot, which renders any 3D model into stunning photo-quality imagery within minutes. In addition, Bunkspeed will unveil for the first time its newest software development, which will do for animation what HyperShot has done for product images: provide amazingly simple composition tools that produce brilliant professional-level CGI results.
During the three-day exhibition, a cross section of Bunkspeed’s most successful clients will present engaging case studies at the booth, including representatives from Bentley, Chrysler, Gulfstream, Nissan, Armstrong & White and Smart Design.
On the second evening of the event, Bunkspeed hosts an invitation-only cocktail reception to celebrate “The Evolution of CGI.” The reception welcomes special guest speakers Jim Shaw, Head of Concept Engineering at Bentley Motors, as well as Gray Holland, principal of the design consultancy Alchemy Labs.
These two industry thought leaders will present their own experiences with Bunkspeed and share their thoughts on the significant implications this new technology has on bridging the gap between design, engineering, and marketing. The exclusive reception, generously sponsored by Dupont, Lenovo, Verari, Moofe, SpaceClaim, and McNeel & Associates, will take place August 13th from 6:30 to 9:30 pm at The Elevate Lounge in Los Angeles.
“Considering that the theme of SIGGRAPH 2008 is ”Evolve”, we are proud to introduce the next generation of computer graphics technology to the professional community,” remarks Philip Lunn, CEO of Bunkspeed. “By significantly simplifying the process, we’re bring a whole new segment of creative talent to the world of 3D. By providing much faster visualization, we’re seeing enhanced communication and work flowing more efficiently. Moreover, we’re witnessing a convergence of the needs of graphic artists, industrial designers, and engineers. It’s an exciting time, and we’re thrilled to share it with the international audience of professionals at SIGGRAPH.”
