In Hamburg Altair will present its HyperWorks CAE Suite and its service offerings for the aerospace industry. With HyperWorks, products can be developed and brought to market faster, the user can define load optimized structures of metal or composite materials, perform strength assessments and increase the efficiency of development cycles by automating CAE processes. The HyperWorks Suite covers the entire spectrum of simulation tools needed for the virtual development of new products. Thanks to automated processes in the area of pre- and post-processing and a CAE driven development process, the development effort can be significantly reduced. With several case studies and examples shown at the Altair booth, the company will demonstrate how HyperWorks and the company’s services can be used to develop better products faster.
“We are looking forward to show our solutions for the aerospace industry to the visitors of the Aircraft Interiors Expo,” said Dr. Detlef Schneider, Managing Director, Altair Engineering GmbH. “The aerospace industry is one of our fastest growing markets and it has an increasing need for optimized and weight reduced components - also in aircraft interiors. With HyperWorks we are offering a solution with which components and entire aircrafts can be developed faster and more cost efficiently. OEMs and suppliers can determine and exploit the entire weight saving potential of every single component of an aircraft.”
HyperWorks is an enterprise simulation solution for rapid design exploration and decision-making, built on a foundation of design optimization, performance data management and process automation. As the most comprehensive, open-architecture CAE solution in the industry, HyperWorks includes best-in-class modeling, analysis, visualization and data management solutions for linear and non-linear, structural optimization, fluid-structure interaction, and multi-body dynamics applications. In addition customers can access a broad range of third party software solutions via the HyperWorks Enabled Community Program.
