This year’s Paris Air show will see many highlights and innovations designed to improve the performance and reliability of the aerospace industry. The companies of Altra Industrial Motion will be exhibiting a range of products that demonstrate the expertise and precision available from the industry leading brands for electro-mechanical power transmission products.

Chomerics Europe will showcase a cross section of its latest solutions for the aerospace industry at the forthcoming Paris Air Show. Exhibiting as part of the Parker Aerospace stand in hall five, Chomerics will shine the spotlight on its latest innovations aimed at applications such as lightning protection, electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, grounding, thermal management and optical displays.

Delta will expand its product offering to include new energy storage solutions and inverters that meet the expanding needs of solar customers in Europe. 

A 48V e-drive systems concept for mild HEVs will be revealed at the 9th International CTI Symposium, Novi, Michigan, 18th to 21st May, in a presentation by Drive System Design (DSD). In a second paper, the company will show how to take time and cost out of gearbox and differential casing development by using more accurate NVH simulation methods to optimise the design earlier in the engineering programme.

Fluke is offering Certified Level 1 Thermography Training Courses in partnership with Infrared Training Limited. 

  At the CWIEME 2015, Röchling will present platforms for oil-filled high-voltage transformers made of the insulation material Trafoboard. The material measures 3,150x3,150mm, permitting the construction of even larger and thus higher-capacity transformers.

Leading British lamination manufacturer Coleherne Ltd. (booth 4.1/E41) will use CWIEME Berlin to highlight its extensive remanufacturing and repair capabilities for electric motor customers.

Dr-Ing. Martin Doppelbauer, Professor for HEVs at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), will use his seminar at CWIEME Berlin to reveal three alternative electric motor designs together with their test results. “It’s all about power density,” said Dr. Doppelbauer. “If we can develop motors for EVs with the same or higher power and torque at a smaller size and weight, then we can significantly reduce engine cost.”

High precision drive technology expert Harmonic Drive UK will showcase its range of planetary gearsat the Manufacturing & Engineering North East event at Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena on July 7 and 8. Harmonic Drive can be found at stand number E8.

Exhibiting for the first time since a major rebrand, IMI Precision Engineering (formerly Norgren) will be bringing its expertise in motion control and fluid technologies to Hannover Messe, held from  13th to 17th April.
