Leading British lamination manufacturer Coleherne Ltd. (booth 4.1/E41) will use CWIEME Berlin to highlight its extensive remanufacturing and repair capabilities for electric motor customers.
Coleherne, a company which prides itself in keeping up with the latest technology, has recently installed a brand new Zeiss coordinate measuring machine. This investment now enables Coleherne to produce identical replacement laminates from a damaged one.
Technical sales engineer, Brian Kermode says: “We can now take a damaged core and completely rebuild it from scratch. We can also refurbish the motor casing back to its original condition.”
Coleherne provides fully-welded cores, including straight slotted cores, as well as laminations that will build into a slot skew. The company’s high-powered 5kW lasers produce laminations with virtually no burr and can offer a de-burring service if required.
Kermode adds: “With Coleherne you can also be sure of a fast response together with short lead times.”
The company holds a large stock of grain and non-grain material that enables manufacturing to begin as soon as an order is placed. For larger orders Coleherne’s dedicated supplier base offers turnaround times of a week.
Coleherne looks forward to welcoming visitors to booth 4.1/E41 at CWIEME Berlin in May.
