At this year's SPS IPC Drives fair, B&R will be presenting intelligent cameras, innovative lighting and advanced image processing algorithms. The comprehensive machine vision solution is seamlessly integrated in the B&R control system. Other highlights on display at the B&R booth (Hall 7 / Booth 206/114) include B&R's first cloud application for OEMs, safe human-track collaboration and robotics fully integrated in the B&R system.

TE Connectivity will be at SPS IPC Drives 2018 from November 27 to 29 in Nuremberg, Germany, to showcase its full range of solutions for industrial automation and machinery solutions. Visitors to the TE booth, number 440 in Hall 10, will be able to see a number of displays that illustrate two focus areas: automation and installation. SMP Sintermetalle Prometheus is presenting its EMC filters with high frequency stability. The specifically developed materials are now effective for frequencies up to the gigaHertz range. EMC filters reduce interference currents in power converter systems which are generated by parasitic effects and cyclic elements of the system. The material plays an important part in this: the target is to achieve stable inductance over the entire frequency spectrum in order to maximise interference suppression.

  Belden will be at SPS IPC Drives 2018 in Nuremburg booth 120-121 in hall 10, and will be highlighting how the company can support customers’ drive to build tomorrow’s network in today’s applications. One key aspect is a step-by-step approach move into digitalisation.

As part of the CC-Link Partner Association (CLPA), a group of technology companies will be announcing a significant step toward the future of open industrial Ethernet at SPS IPC Drives 2018. Prominent members of the CLPA including Analog Devices, Balluff, CKD, FESTO, Hilscher, Hirschmann, HMS, Mitsubishi Electric, Molex, Renesas and Security Matters will together be announcing a significant new Ethernet technology that the group predicts will fundamentally change the landscape for Industrial Ethernet.

WEG will showcase the new Motor Scan condition monitoring technology plus energy-efficient electric motors with electronic speed control for HVAC applications at SPS IPC Drives 2018, on Stand 466 in Hall 3A. The new Motor Scan product is targeted to deliver remote monitoring of WEG Motors, in order to maximise uptime and enable predictive/ preventative maintenance.
