ERT announced today that it will be showcasing its portfolio of products and services on booth # 507 at the 45th Annual DIA Meeting, 22-25 June 2009 in San Diego, California, USA.

PA&E will be highlighting its EMI filter, hermetic interconnect, and electronic packaging technology at the 2009 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium, held June 7-12 at the Boston Convention Center in Boston, MA. PA&E application engineers will be available in Booth 1827 throughout the show to discuss electronic component engineering challenges with attendees and to answer questions about the company’s products and integrated manufacturing capabilities.

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. announced that researchers attending its first ever FAIMS (high-field asymmetric waveform ion mobility spectrometry) meeting in Germany showcased ground-breaking findings. Attendees presented a number of breakthroughs enabled through their use of the FAIMS technology. For example, Michael Blackburn, working with colleagues at sanofi-aventis, described how FAIMS can be used to successfully filter out matrix interferences from mass spectrometry data, leaving a cleaner signal and making it easier to validate bioanalytical methods used in drug development.

Altair Engineering, Inc. today announced that it will host its 2009 European HyperWorks Technology Conference from November 2nd to 4th, 2009 in Ludwigsburg, Germany. The three day event will show new approaches to maximize the benefits of enterprise simulation tools by consolidating software licenses and by saving time and money through streamlining the use of CAE and optimization methods within the development processes.
