Dustproof steppers added to Astrosyn motor range

Designed to operate in dusty environments, the new MY34HYS range of hybrid stepper motors from Astrosyn International Technology produce very high holding torques of up to 8 Nm. The motors offer IP65 environmental protection thanks to their oil sealed front bearing and rubber sealed end bell and terminal block at the rear.
Their high quality construction uses double shield, deep groove ball bearings, and the permanent magnets are made from high performance rare earth alloys.
A range of options are available to customise the shaft, such as extended or shortened shafts, slotted shafts, tapped centres etc.
Ambient operating temperature is -25degC to +50degC, with ambient relative humidity in the range 20% to 95%.
