AUGMENTED REALITY FOR ALL

From designers to marketing managers, architects to students, Augmented
Reality is really now within everyone’s reach. Seac02 launches “LinceoVR 4
ALL”, a new version of its “LinceoVR” software, the only software in the
world that integrates the functionalities of Render Realtime and Augmented
Reality in one product. Now with new functionalities.

Over a year since the launch of the revolutionary release 3.0, “Linceo VR”
has been upgraded and offered for just the cost of an annual 25 euro
licence, offering its new users a full range of tools to optimise and
speed up their entire creative process, reducing times and costs in
design, marketing and sales activities.

“Linceo VR” enables importing with a single click of three dimensional
models generated by the most diffused CAD programs on the market,
customising them with different materials and colours. With a technique
new to the sector: realtime raytracing in augmented reality, an advanced
lighting technique for the realtime display of 3D objects in exceptionally
realistic computer graphics set instantaneously in the real world.

Thanks to Augmented Reality, each virtual prototype can then be
contextualised in the real world, using a simple webcam. An extra
possibility for companies, that can compare the design of their products
with that of competitors, but also their clients, who have a means of
trying them virtually without leaving the house. With “LinceoVR Viewer”,
which can be downloaded for free from the Seac02 website, the virtual
prototypes of the new products can in fact be shared via e-mail with
colleagues or clients, just like a simple Pdf.

“LinceoVR” is also enriched with certain additional components. The “Batch
Reder” (25 € per year) module enables the automatic creation of an
unlimited number of images of a product from every view point, reducing
creation time by up to 100% compared to other software on the market. “Web
exporter” (49 € per year) instead enables the exporting of a 3D model for
the Web and living an augmented or virtual reality experience on line and
in realtime, thanks to a free plug-in that is easily installed on each
browser for Windows.
