“While the Standard Tire Interface (STI) has become outdated and was meant for simple tire models like Magic Formula, CTI has been designed to simplify the integration of complex tire models such as the FTire model family, said Prof. Gipser, Cosin Consulting. It enables the integration of new customized tire models as well as flexible road models, and comes with a large set of assisting tools. It was important for us to offer the new tire interface with HyperWorks because we will reach a broader customer base and enable many users to integrate their tire models easily into their MBS model.”
