The event will outline strategies and examples of enterprise simulation methods in the development of innovative products
The 4th European HTC will bring together leading European engineers and engineering managers from across industry. Attendees will gather insight into a wide range of topics concerning structural analysis, optimization, data management, and engineering intelligence and will have the opportunity to experience HyperWorks 11.0 and Altair’s future product development directions. In addition the EHTC will offer excellent networking opportunities for industry experts, vendors and engineering partners.
“I’m proud to say that, since its inception in 2006, Altair's European HTC has grown into one of Europe's premier PLM technology events, “said Michael Hoffmann, Vice President European Operations, Altair Engineering. “Our ever growing multi-day, conference brought more than 500 industry professionals to Ludwigsburg in 2009, from a broad range of industry verticals. I expect the event to grow in size and importance as we carry on with this yearly tradition. This year we will again focus on our key topics including lightweight design, time and cost reduction and optimization. There is still a growing need to cut CAE expenses, which can be met by harmonizing the software toolset with HyperWorks’ flexible licensing system, especially in conjunction with our partner alliance.”
“I’m happy to announce that several keynote speakers from the automotive, rail, aero, energy, and consumer product industries have already confirmed their attendance. We are looking forward to receiving more technical and keynote presentation until our extended deadline of May 18th and are looking ahead to welcoming you in Versailles to discuss relevant industry and economical topics,” he adds.
The three day event will kick off on October 27th with several technical workshops and meetings for customers from the educational area and solidThinking, the CAID software offered by Altair’s subsidiary company, solidThinking. The event will be completed by a technical showcase in which hardware, software and service partners will have the opportunity to present their solutions. To date, the following partners will sponsor the event and show their solutions at the technical showcase: Microsoft, nCode, Bull, Coretech, e-Xstream, FTSS, Magna Powertrain, METACOMP, NAFEMS, Software Cradle, TASS.
