MicroControl's latest automation controller has been developed in close liaison with our customers and will be presented at SPS IPC DRIVES 2015 featuring additional interfaces. The controller's concept and design (two boards providing various options for customised extensions), as well as key characteristics (operating temperature range from -40 to +50°C, supply voltage of 9-36VDC and no battery) set it apart from common industrial control systems.
Compared with conventional systems, there are further significant characteristics in its performance profile. Its most distinctive features are: metal instead of plastic casing; a non-proprietary operating system (Real-Time Linux); its integration capabilities in IT infrastructures; local programming without additional engineering tools; its DIN-rail design; and its size which is 25% smaller than conventional control systems. Various digital interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, Seriell, USB) facilitate use in Industry 4.0 applications.
MicroControl will be exhibiting from Stand 301 in Hall 2.
