BASIC-programmable Industrial Controllers from Tibbo can be IP68 rated

Featuring four RS232 ports, the DS1000 is a DIN rail mount module based on the company’s established EM1000 device. Serial ports, sensor inputs, relay outputs, card readers and so on can all be connected to the module with few or no additional components.

With the use of the easy-to-learn Tibbo BASIC language users can create rich web-enabled applications supporting browser-based configuration, direct TCP and UDP communications, email, data storage, etc. As a result, the DS1000 is ideally suited to work as an intelligent serial controller, serial device server, or serial communications gateway.

Now, with the addition of a secondary cover, the DS1000 becomes dust- and waterproof. The cover attaches to the top of the DS1000 and accommodates up to six signal cables that can securely exit through it. The IP68 rating is considered sufficient for most industrial applications.
