It has been announced that Selco Products has received an IP67 certification on manufactured parts with LEP, LPH and LPHD designs. The IP67 rating protects against access to hazardous parts (six = dust tight) and any affects against temperature submersion in water, up to 30 minutes/one Meter depth (seven). 

With the demand for more feature filled, low-cost electronic temperature control solutions, Selco has decided to re-introduce the standard and custom series of electronic temperature controllers. For applications where high precision temperature control is required and where time and/or temperature reading must be displayed, these electronic controls offer an advanced solution over standard electromechanical component thermostats.

The list of capabilities and equipment from Selco Products has been expanded in order to keep up with growing demands from OEMs for ready to install custom configurations. OEMs are continuously looking for turn-key solutions in order to increase their productivity. They are looking for specialised products that will assist them with their design constraints.

An over-moulding process ensuring zero possibility of moisture intrusion in the probe assembly, is how Selco Products Custom TPE Thermistors are designed, meaning they are well suited in applications with overall operating temperature range of -40°C to 135°C. Manufactured with robust, UL certified TPE material, these custom assemblies are ideal for harsh moisture environments.

Selco Products has introduced a new series of precision Electronic Temperature Controllers that meet UL approval in both the US and Canada. The 3699A and 3699B Series of enclosed controllers offer high-end electronic features to provide exact sensing and control of heating, cooling and humidity. Typical applications include cooling and heating controls for cooking equipment, refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers and HVAC equipment.

Selco Products Company has introduced the second generation 2699B Electronic Temperature Controller offering a highly flexible temperature control solution in a compact, easy-to-install enclosure (75x33x70 mm). Utilizing the latest electronic technologies, the new controller was developed with fewer components thereby reducing costs. The result is an extremely affordable unit that includes a temperature range to over 2,000°F, high functionality software, timer control for energy savings, multiple power and sensor inputs, multiple output types, and a variety of selectable hardware configurations. Typical applications include temperature control for commercial food equipment, heaters, refrigeration/freezers, and HVAC equipment.

Selco Products Company has introduced the new CRA and ORA Series ½” Disc Thermostats in five stud sizes for complete mounting versatility. These snap-action thermostats feature a ceramic case for handling higher temperatures, automatic reset, and are suitable for temperature control in a variety of applications. Typical uses include fire control, UV systems, commercial food equipment, gas conditioners, furnaces, ovens, and medical equipment.
